Who I am and why I do it
My name is Michal and my goal is to restore the health, vitality, and abundant yield of fruit trees.
For me, tree pruning is not just a mechanical shortening of branches. It is an honest craft that requires a deep understanding of how a tree lives and grows.
I gathered my experience over years of managing my own orchard in South Moravia, gradually expanding my care to the gardens of family and friends. In recent years, I have fully dedicated myself to my clients' gardens across the country, focusing primarily on Prague and its wider surroundings.
I never cut blindly. Every cut I make has a specific reason and purpose – whether it is training a young tree, thinning a dense canopy, or saving an old, mature apple tree that hasn’t been touched in years.
In my work, I use exclusively premium tools: Swiss Felco shears, Japanese ARS shears, Silky Japanese saws, and Fiskars telescopic pruners. These tools guarantee a perfectly smooth and clean cut.
Why is this so important for your tree?
A smooth wound heals much faster, the tree does not suffer from shock, and it is naturally protected against fungal infections and pests. Your garden will receive care with maximum precision.
Are tree branches encroaching on your neighbour's garden?
Branches of this mature cherry tree were extending far over the fence onto the neighbour's property, causing unwanted shading and dropping fruit that complicated lawn maintenance. We performed a professional crown reduction to a suitable lateral branch, relieved the canopy perimeter, and safely reduced its overall height.

Overgrown canopy on your
nectarine tree?
A dense, overgrown canopy shaded the inner branches and limited fruit quality. By carefully thinning crowded shoots and opening up the center, we restored sunlight penetration and airflow, supporting sweet fruit ripening and long-term tree health.

Does your fruit tree
need crown thinning?
Heavy, overextended limbs put mature fruit trees at risk of splitting under strong winds or heavy crop loads. Targeted structural pruning relieves excess branch weight, stabilizes the canopy, and significantly extends the life and safety of the tree.
